The recent Comic-Con panel hinted on some teasers, shocks, and cameos that you may get to witness in the upcoming seasons.

Quick Info

·        The show creators: Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland

·        Season 4 cast: Spencer Grammer, Sarah Chalke, Kathleen Turner, Paul, Taika Waititi

The release date announcement

With the previous year not releasing any new Rick and Morty season, the fans were hoping for a quick arrival of the beloved series. Luckily for them, the first teaser video announced that the latest installment is set to be released in November 2019. However, even after several months passing the show creators, Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon have yet to announce an exact date for the final season.

Well, the rumors, however, bring in good news as they suggest that the latest season will be released in the mid of November. It was previously reported that the Adult Swim Festival attendees would be able to watch it on Saturday, November 16. As of writing this article, we are yet to confirm the exact date of the premiere.

Still, however, you may be able to watch it on most likely one of the following days. November 3, November 10, November 17, November 24.

Our best guess is November 17 as it will provide just the needed hype after the Adult Swim Festival premiere.

Season Trailers

As of now, there have not been any official trailers being released, at least not in a traditional way. However, the official Adult Swim YouTube channel showed two brief clips.

In the first clip released in May, Rick and Morty are standing right in front of a black background. Morty, of course, refusing to say anything passes over to his grandson Morty who reveals the release date.

The second clip is the closest to a trailer we have gotten for season 4. It shows a brief clip from the upcoming episodes. In the clip squishy purple tech guru Glootie is confronted by Morty after Glootie refused to take off Jerry’s app from the internet. It seemed like a typical day in the Smith household.

The Cast

From the San Diego Comic-Con panel, it looks like all the series regulars are back including Justin Roiland (Rick and Morty), Spencer Grammer (Summer), Sarah Clarke (Beth), and Chris Panell (Jerry).

There are some guest stars like Waiti (Glootie), Sam Neil, Paul Giamatti and Kathleen Turner.

Episode Count

The latest season is set to release 10 episodes which will equal the second and third season. The first season had eleven episodes.

The show creator Dan Harmont went back and forth on the decision of whether or not to add more episodes but eventually decided against it.

Other than that there are still around 70 more episodes remaining which were confirmed back in 2018 by Justin Roiland which means another 60 more episodes upcoming after this season.

Seeing the series’ popularity and overall success, it can be expected to increase, but that is something we do not know yet.
